LCCA Office Gallery Open Call

The Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA) invites submissions for exhibitions and creative projects to be held at the LCCA’s Office gallery in 2016!

Just as the name suggests, the LCCA’s Office gallery has been located on the premises of the LCCA’s office on the 7th floor, 13 Alberta Street for several years now. It offers a qualitative, varied and unlimited in form programme of contemporary art exhibitions to its audiences. The Office gallery operates as a non-commercial platform for creative experiments, inviting artists to focus on exploring new forms of art and means of expression. The aim of the Office gallery is to stimulate search for innovative art discourse, therefore we welcome submissions from practitioners who explore or reflect on the interaction between the individual and his/her immediate reality, using conceptual means of expression and questioning the limitations of contemporary art. The Office gallery is particularly interested in creative processes that use atypical perspectives to survey the immediate reality and its relationship with art.
